Amber Ridington Heritage Consulting

Amber Ridington is an independent consulting folklorist based in British Columbia, Canada. Over the last twelve years Amber has worked collaboratively with a number of First Nations in British Columbia on a range of heritage projects including oral history and land use documentation, digital archive development, virtual repatriation, and community-directed exhibition. Working both in indigenous-driven and development-driven consulting sectors, Amber’s work with First Nations incorporates their priorities for self-representation, youth skill development, culture and language vitalization, and documentation of cumulative industrial impacts on indigenous lands and resources.
